Metro also uses the DemandStar.com service for the distribution of solicitations. With DemandStar, solicitation documents are available for download from the DemandStar.com website, or can be ordered by fax or e-mail. DemandStar.com Network members will be automatically advised, via e-mail or fax, of those Metro procurement opportunities in which they have expressed interest. This information will be transmitted by DemandStar to its members within 24 hours of when the information is sent to them by Metro. DemandStar members can download, free of charge, solicitation documents from the DemandStar.com website.

Both DemandStar members and non-members may obtain solicitation documents and other solicitation information by contacting DemandStar's fee fax-on-demand service at 800-711-1712. Documents on the fax-on-demand system are numbered using a simple and consistent numbering system. This allows interested vendors to order documents by number from a telephone keypad. The following information may be ordered by anyone using the fax-on-demand service.

• Current procurement list
• Bid/RFP/RFQ announcement
• Published "short list" for project
• Package request form
• Bid tabulation sheet
• List of vendors who received the package
• Addendums
• Recommendation of award
