Gravois-Hampton MetroBus Center

MetroBus Centers. The Agency’s MetroBus centers serve as central hubs for multiple MetroBus routes. These MetroBus routes connect to major employment, educational, commercial, recreational, and health care centers via a single, coordinated transfer. The centers were funded by a grant from the Federal Transit Administration and the local ½ cent sales tax for transit.

The Gravois-Hampton MetroBus Center located at the intersection of Gravois and Hampton in South St. Louis City opened February 14, 2002. The Center is equipped with information kiosks, heated passenger shelters, and unique artwork that reflect the architectural flavor of the neighborhood.
